AXA COMMUNITY INVESTMENT PROGRAM
AXA Community Investment Program (CIP) illustrates one of the ways AXA Financial, Inc. expresses its major commitment to assisting local communities. Through CIP, we invest in leading innovative organizations, both nationally and regionally, that support affordable housing, economic development and community revitalization. The program invests in projects that will help provide financing to community groups with significant social benefits and projects that are unable to access funds through traditional mechanisms. The program continues to promote social good while providing the company with competitive rates of return on its investments.
In most instances, we make investments in funds involving numerous participants. The program consists of a diverse mix of debt, equity and tax-credit equity investments made with leading financial intermediaries. Investments include those made by AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company with: ACCION USA, Enterprise Social Investment Corporation, National Equity Fund, Community Preservation Corporation, New York City Investment Fund, Community Reinvestment Fund, Urban America, Black Enterprise/Greenwich Street Fund, Local Initiatives Support Council, Enterprise Foundation, Related Capital Partners, and Habitat for Humanity.
