James ("J.C.") Dennis Joins AXA Equitable as Senior Vice President

New York , May 31, 2006 – James C. ("J.C.") Dennis has joined AXA Equitable as Senior Vice President of Customer Marketing, it was announced today by Barbara Goodstein, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. Mr. Dennis will report to Ms. Goodstein.

Mr. Dennis becomes responsible for AXA Equitable's customer marketing activities, as well as for marketing support to the company's critical wholesale and retail sales efforts.

Mr. Dennis has an extensive marketing background from prior responsibilities in brand management, advertising, direct marketing and relationship marketing that span the consumer packaged goods, technology and financial services industries. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, Northeast Client Service for ACNielsen, where he was responsible for the largest unit of the company's consumer packaged goods client business.

Previously, he has held positions as Chief Operating Officer at Paymap, a leading mortgage acceleration company, Chief Marketing Officer and Unit General Manager at Cendant Membership Services and senior roles in corporate marketing at Citigroup/Travelers and Hewlett-Packard. His consumer packaged goods experience includes brand manager roles at General Foods and VP of Established Brands at Heublein Spirits Group.

Mr. Dennis holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Fairfield University .
