Appointments At AXA Group
The AXA Group announced today that Stanley B. Tulin, Gregory G. Wilcox
and Lorna Ness have been appointed as executive officers of AXA and will assume
new responsibilities at group level.
Stan Tulin, AXA Financial's Vice-Chairman and CFO
has been named AXA Executive Vice-President and will
join the Group's Executive Committee. While maintaining
his current responsibilities at AXA Financial, he will
take over Group responsibility for financial communication,
relations with rating agencies and consolidated risk assessment,
reporting to Gérard de La Martiniere, member of the Management Board and
Group CFO, Mr. Tulin will also assume an advisory role to Gérard de La
Martiniere in the area of finance, control and strategy.
Gregory Wilcox, Executive Vice-President of Investor Relations at AXA Financial has
been named AXA Senior Vice-President and will be in charge of the Group's Investor
Relations and rating agencies reporting to Mr. Tulin. Mr. Wilcox will manage
both the Paris and New York IR offices and coordinate the IR initiatives developed
by other listed entities within AXA Group.
Lorna Ness, Senior Vice-President of Risk Management at AXA Financial,
has been named AXA Vice-President and will be in charge of
consolidated risk assessment at Group level reporting to Mr. Tulin.
She will work with various teams involved in risk analysis and risk management,
in order to monitor their efforts and to exploit the outcomes of their findings.
Henri de Castries, chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive
Officer of AXA, commented, "These appointments mark an important further
step in the AXA Group's global strategy, by expanding our international
management expertise at the Group level. Mr. Tulin is
well recognized internationally as an authority in financial services
and strategy, and it is a tremendous advantage to have Stan and his team
join Ed Miller in the AXA Group's activities."
